1 I think the first piece is 20th century because it has the large dynamic contrasts and unusual harmonies. Also i think this piece is 20th century because it has no harpsichord, it was definitely not written by Beethoven. I also know that Reich is a 20th century composer and this is who composed this piece.
2 I think the second piece is classical as it has mostly strings, a lot of scales and arpeggios and also the tempo is extremely rigid. Other things tell us that this is classical by what it does not contain it is not arrhythmic, it has no percussion and it has no dynamic contrasts. The composer is Haydn and he is a classical composer.
3I think the third piece is also classical, this is because it involves all of the classical aspects which i have included in 2, this piece is also written by Haydn.
4I think the forth piece is classical and has the same aspects however the composer of this piece is composed by Mozart not Haydn.
5I think this piece is 20th century because it has a large variety of dynamics, unusual harmonies and it has a large orchestra. Also the composer is Schoenberg.
6I think the sixth piece could be late classical or romantic. i think it could be late classical because Beethoven is the composer, it is mostly strings and lots of use of timpani and trumpets. However i feel that it could be romantic as the tonality is not very predictable, it has quite a large orchestra and it is a big lush melody. Therefore i cannot tell if this is late classical or romantic.
7 I think the seventh piece is late classical, i think this because it is mostly strings, Beethoven is the composer and it has trumpets and timpani. however this could be romantic as it has a larger orchestra than a typical late classical piece would have.

1. 20th Century (It is by Reich and has unpredictable tonality)
2. Classical (It is by Haydn and is fairly string dominated and is major and very happy)
3. Classical (Haydn is the composer and the orchestra is not very big)
4. Late Classical (I believe this because the writing is very emotional)
5. 20th Century (This is because the piece is very strange and doesn't make much sense and is also atonal and there is a large orchestra)
6. Late Classical (There is lots of percussion and timpani also the composer is Beethoven)
7. Late Classical (Lots of dynamics and has a simple time signature)
8. Classical (Lots of arpeggios and scales and is mostly strings)
9. Late Classical (Beethoven and the tempo is rigid)
10. Romantic (Composer Mahler and there is a big lush melody)
11. Romantic (Very emotional writing and composed by Mahler)
12. Romantic (Unusual harmonies are used and its very emotional)
13. 20th Century (The music doesn't make no sense doesn't have a key and is atonal)
14. Romantic (Composed by Schubert and has lots of dynamic contrasts)
15. Romantic ( it is very emotional but has not got a very predictable tonality)
