Here are the Grade boundaries for projects that the exam board used last year.
Remember they are only an estimation and they may change this year.
The exam board does not like you using wikipedia as a source for your project because of it’s unreliability. You can use it as a start for your research as it has links to lots of other websites.
You need to evaluate all the websites you use including wikipedia
Websites recommended by the exam board are:
Google Scholar http://scholar.google.com (you have to pay for access to some of these articles. However you can use it as a start and then do further searches around the authors etc)
Google Books http://books.google.com/
The British Library http://www.bl.uk
Intute http:www.intute.ac.uk/
MIT Libraries http://dome.mit.edu/
ArchNet http://archnet.org/lobby/
Flickr http://www.flickr.com/commons (these images have been cleared for use so avoids copyright issues)
Library of Congress http://memory.loc.gov/ammem/index.html
http://bubl.ac.uk/ - new good search engine
You must make sure that your project is referenced correctly. You will not achieve good marks without it. Harvard referencing is the system required.
Below are various resources to help you with this.
