today we watched a film called ‘in brugge’ i think this film is really good because it leaves the audience asking questions. the film is about 2 hitmen who had to kill a priest but Ray killed a little boy as well so he had to die but his fried let him go and disobeyed his boss. when hi boss found out he went to Brougge and killed his friend then shot Ray several times but when he shot him he killed a little boy as well so he shot himself. the film finishes leaving Ray in a hospital not knowing if he is dead or alive.
today i began my script i am half way through which i will hopefully finish next lesson.
plan – Becky and Abi’s
Becky will walk into the room and ask Abi who is already sat down on the table a simple question, i will then sit down opposite her. She will then reply with a short answer
‘have u got the stuff?’ asks Becky who looks around to make sure no one is watching
‘yes… have u got the money’ abi replies whispering
’68.. yeah?’ Becky says
then Becky puts the money on the table an Abi quickly slides the ‘stuff’ over to Becky, picks it up puts it in her hoody pockets. they both stand up and Shake hands

i will walk into the canteen where Kayleigh will already be sitting, i see her and i flick my arm up
‘ i was waiting for outside art!’ i said
‘well i thought we were meeting here, sorry but ha’ and she takes a bite out of her food.
i sit down while kayleigh is talking and takes out some crisps.

SYNOPSIS:
the film is about a brutal murder that took place on Lisa’s floor by the door. Gracie is on top the stairs whilst the killing took place. Seven years on and the killer is back for Gracie and haunts her making her seem insane because Gracie knows exactly what happened on the night of the murder.

storyline:
The film is evolved around a secret, the very same secret that had Gracie’s mother brutally murdered. Gracie who is nine years old witnessed her mum’s murder by a psycho killer, seven years later and she goes to see a psychiatrist to relive the day her mother was murdered. Little did anyone know the killer was back for Gracie and taunting her making Gracie almost insane because no one else can see the killer. Gracie has to find out why her mother was killed and find out why the psycho killer didn’t kill her, asking her what she wants from her.
Beginning:
- Lisa opens the door to a strange looking women who walks straight in without being asked as soon as Lisa turns around the women stabs her in the chest and falls to the floor.
- Gracie who is sitting on the steps witnesses her mothers murder, she runs straight up the stairs into her bedroom and hides under her bed.
- Seven years later Gracie sees a psychiatrist to help her through her past , once she revisits her pasts the killer is back for Gracie but no one else can her so it looks like Gracie is going insane.
- Gracie gets taunted by the killer and she starts panicking screaming and crying because she is so scared.
objective:
the objective of this film is to leave the audience asking questions, it may leave the audience feeling sorry for Gracie because of what has happened to her throughout the film. This film has moderate language and violence which is under the BBCF website for the rating 15.
Goals:
is to make the audience feel on edge throughout the film it will be slightly jumpy and it will definitely be leaving them with questions. We will make the first 2 minutes intense so it will the audience will want to watch all the film. We will use publicity and advertising for the film so the target audience would be eager to watch our film
Solutions: our solution is to reveal the secret sometime in the film, it will leave the audience guessing what the secret is and once the secret is revealed the audience will have their own opinion on the secret. We will want the audience to enjoy our film, make them feel on edge.
What we are doing:
We are all going to do camera work but our jobs in the film will be:
Kayleigh doing the make-up, costume and hair.
Abi doing costume.
Becky and Laura will be designing the tile. ( but will be using Becky’s title)
today i finished my detailed storyboard of a certain scene in the 2 minute film, we took a section of the 2 minutes at drawn it in more detail.
today Mr Butcher told me about BINARY OPPOSITION and what it means. in ‘The Wire’ also Mr Butcher told us about hyper realism.
today i completed my proposal and finished editing my simple film sitting down and talking opposite each other using the 180 degree turn. i have also finished my storyboard.
